Pizzaghetti
1 pound mild italian bulk sausage
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 can (16 ozs) stewed tomatoes
1 can (8 ozs) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
7 oz uncooked spaghetti
1 can (12 ozs whole kernel corn with sweet peppers
1/3 cup sliced pimento-stuffed olives
5 thin slices mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
Cook and stir Italian bulk sausage in oil in 10 inch skillet over medium heat until light brown, about 6 minutes; drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, salt garlic powder and pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes.
Cook spaghetti as directed on package; drain. Stir corn (with liquid) and olives into sausage mixture. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes. I don't have the card, but I found this recipe on line - perhaps it's similar.
';Pizzaghetti';
1 lb. spaghetti, cooked %26amp; drained
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1-15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 small can tomato sauce
1-4 oz. pkg. sliced pepperoni
1 can mushrooms, drained
1 small can sliced black olives
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 c.(12 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Cook meat, onion %26amp; green pepper until meat is done; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except cheeses %26amp; spaghetti. Spread 1 c. meat sauce in bottom of greased 13';x9'; baking dish.Top with 1/2 of spaghetti, 1/2 of remaining sauce, 1 c. mozzarella. Repeat. Sprinkle parmesan over top layer of mozzarella. Sprinkle with an extra bit of basil %26amp; garlic salt.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until heated through.
